Bethel Native Corporation (BNC) is an Alaska Native Village Corporation (ANC) that offers environmentally attuned, full construction services with mechanisms for federal contracting through its wholly owned subsidiaries, BNC International, Inc. (BNCI) and Bethel Services, Inc. (BSI).

BNCI and BSI are a combination of Environmental Engineering and Construction/Project Management Services contractor. The utilization of professional quality staff, equipment, and supplies has given BNC an excellent history of successful projects. BNCI and BSI share common ownership, common office facilities, and the same President/Chief Executive Officer.

BNC International, Inc.

BNCI is an Alaskan Native Owned Corporation (ANOC), Small Business Administration (SBA) certified small business, 8(a), HUBZone firm and a GSA approved contractor, specializing in environmental site characterization, engineering, and remediation of environmental contamination. BNCI was incorporated in 1994 and for a decade has successfully completed projects for private business, government agencies and the military.

Bethel Services, Inc.

BSI is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), SBA certified small business, 8(a), and a HUBZone participant. BSI was established August 20, 2001 to complement BNC's environmental subsidiary, BNCI, working under a primary NAICS code of 233320 and secondary NAICS codes of 236220, 561210, 562910 and others.

BNCI and BSI are full service organizations that consist of project managers, engineers, geologists, hydrologists, chemists, construction managers and support staff which allow BNCI and BSI to provide specialized services to an ever-expanding industrial marketplace. Our expertise in engineering, design, procurement, installation, construction management, commissioning and performance testing enables us to handle projects of any size. We are widely known as innovators in the remediation of environmentally contaminated sites.

A History of Stability and Commitment

BNCI and BSI have successfully completed contracts with the federal government, commercial industry and the private sector since 1994. Through these subsidiaries, BNC has 10 years of experience working on environmental, demolition and construction projects throughout the State of Alaska in remote locations. Our clients include: US Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE), US Army Public Works, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Indian Health Service (IHS), Alaska Army National Guard (AKARNG), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), United States Forest Service (USFS), British Petroleum (BP), Laidlaw Transit, Jacobs Engineering Group, CH2M Hill, SHAW GROUP, and numerous local and statewide businesses. The professional and administrative staff of BNCI/BSI is assigned seamlessly from a common resource base to either BNCI or BSI on a project specific basis.

BNC is practiced in Federal Contracting mechanisms. We actively participate in the Alaska Native Corporation 8(a) competitive and sole source contracting. We are particularly adept at the Alpha Contracting mechanism, in which we help to develop the scope in order to expedite the project. From inception to present day we have carefully planned and executed thousands of engineering hours and successfully implemented many new projects. Today, as wholly owned subsidiaries of Bethel Native Corporation, we continue our commitment and dedication to every project executed.

Innovation

BNCI and BSI approach each project with the solutions necessary to improve the customer's operating profitability. These solutions may be brought in from other industries utilizing a broad depth of experience, and can possibly be extracted from the customer's experience base through developmental teamwork. BNCI and BSI have developed many new ideas which have since been adopted by the industry for safety and profitability.

Flexibility and Capacity

BNCI and BSI provides a wide range of services from complete turnkey design/build responsibility on domestic and international multi-million dollar facilities to "engineering only" and feasibility studies. From material handling to advanced process engineering, all disciplines are coordinated with one point of responsibility and coordination. We continually reinvest in our people and technology to maintain the highest professional standards of capability, efficiency and effectiveness.

Teaming

Teaming relationships with McClintock Land Associates, Inc., (MLA) and the Shaw Group's subsidiaries, Stone and Webster and Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure, Inc. (SHAW GROUP) are well established. Through these relationships, BNC's subsidiary, BSI, offers land development, surveying, civil/structural design and construction, electrical subcontracting, power plant/process design and construction, and enhanced environmental design as well as remediation system construction.

BSI and MLA successfully contracted with the Bureau of Land Management to provide professional land surveying services for the Alaska Native Village Corporation of NIMA during a period beginning September 16, 2002 continuing through December 31, 2003.
